As September begins, AnTuTu has released its latest rankings of the highest-performing smartphones from the past month. Unsurprisingly, the Red Magic 9S Pro+ has claimed the top position. This device is equipped with the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Leading Version”.

In second place is the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, a notable addition as it serves as a flagship killer with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, rather than being a conventional flagship. The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ secures the third spot, priced at approximately $412 (CNY 2,999), and achieves an average AnTuTu score exceeding 2.1 million. This makes it an appealing choice for consumers seeking high performance without a hefty price tag. Below is the full list of top-performing devices.

Qualcomm vs. MediaTek
Devices powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+, which typically appeared among the top three, have been overtaken by Qualcomm's offerings. The iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Redmi K70 Ultra Edition, both using the Dimensity 9300+, are still reasonably priced considering their performance.
Looking ahead, MediaTek plans to introduce its next-generation Dimensity 9400 in mid-October. Flagship models such as the Vivo X200 series and Oppo Find X8 series are anticipated to adopt this chip early. The Dimensity 9400 is rumored to offer a 30% boost in single-core performance over the Dimensity 9300 and deliver “PC-level” ray tracing capabilities.
