Red Magic has finally introduced its flagship Red Magic 9 Pro gaming smartphone to the Indian market. Initially launched globally in December 2023, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device is now available for Indian customers through the brand’s global website. This means you won’t find these phones in local stores.
Pricing and Configurations
The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at $649 (₹54,038), while the higher-end 16GB + 512GB model costs $799 (₹66,528). Indian customers will need to pay additional taxes. For instance, shipping to New Delhi brings the total cost to $895.62 (₹74,573) for the 12GB + 256GB version and $1,102 (₹91,757) for the 16GB + 512GB version.
Despite these prices seeming high, the Red Magic 9 Pro remains more affordable compared to the ROG Phone 8 Pro, another current-gen gaming smartphone available in India. The ROG Phone 8 Pro starts at ₹94,999 for the 16GB + 512GB model, while the 24GB + 1TB variant costs ₹1,19,999.

The Red Magic 9 Pro boasts a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a 960Hz touch response rate. The screen supports 10-bit color depth, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and reaches a brightness level of 1600 nits. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and shoulder triggers for gaming.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and Adreno 750 GPU. It offers various RAM and storage options utilizing UFS 4.0 technology.
