On November 13, Nubia is set to launch the Red Magic 10 gaming phone series in China. According to various reports, the lineup will include two models: the Red Magic 10 Pro and the Red Magic 10 Pro Plus. There were earlier rumors about an Ultra version featuring a screen larger than 7 inches. However, new information suggests that this Ultra variant isn't real, and the phone with the larger display is actually the Red Magic 10 Pro Plus. Today, Nubia has shared the display specifications for what seems to be the Red Magic 10 Pro model. Below are the details that the company has confirmed.
Display Features of Red Magic 10 Pro
The Red Magic 10 Pro boasts a 6.85-inch BOE OLED display that does not have a punch-hole, as it includes an under-display camera. The device has remarkably slim black borders measuring just 1.25mm and a bezel thickness of only 0.7mm, leading to a stunning screen-to-body ratio of 95.3 percent.
This smartphone is the first in the world to incorporate an under-display camera that offers a striking 1.5K resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels. The display is designed for high performance, supporting a refresh rate of 144Hz and achieving peak brightness levels of 2000 nits.
Design and Performance
The Red Magic 10 Pro series features a larger R-corner design, creating a more seamless and cohesive appearance with its middle frame. This model aims to deliver an immersive viewing experience. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is Nubia’s specially designed gaming chip, along with an active cooling system that ensures excellent performance during long gaming sessions. Additionally, the device includes physical shoulder triggers for improved gaming control.
As of now, the brand has not confirmed the complete specifications for the Red Magic 10 Pro series. However, there are rumors that the Pro+ version might come with an extraordinary 7050mAh battery and capabilities for over 100W fast charging.
Upcoming Nubia Z70 Ultra
Nubia is also expected to unveil the Nubia Z70 Ultra, a flagship phone not intended for gaming, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. With advanced cameras, this model is anticipated to compete with other high-end devices like the Vivo X200 Pro, Oppo Find X8 Pro, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Honor Magic 7 Pro, iQOO 13, OnePlus 13, and Realme GT 7 Pro in the Chinese market.
