Realme's CEO Teases Arrival of New Note Series
Realme's founder and CEO, Sky Li, took to social media platform X/Twitter today to tease the arrival of the new Note series. While official details are scarce, the teaser suggests that the new line will be launching soon.
New Product Line Planned for 2024
In a recent online post, Francis Wong, CEO of Realme Europe, outlined the company's plans for 2024. One key aspect mentioned is the introduction of a new product line that will be separate from the existing GT, Number, and C series. Wong stated that this move is aimed at facing the competition more directly.
Possible First Device: Realme Note 50
Although the teaser does not specify which device will be the first in the lineup, leaks and certifications point to the Realme Note 50. This phone has made an appearance on Geekbench with a Unisoc T612 chipset, which is typically found in budget smartphones. The octa-core processor has a peak clock speed of 1.82GHz. Additionally, the Note 50 has been certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Thailand's NBTC, with the model number RMX3834.
Insights into Note 50's Features
Leaker Paras Guglani has shared some insights into the features of the Note 50. The device is rumored to come with a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display that features a water-drop notch. The camera setup is said to include a 13MP primary camera, a 0.8MP secondary camera, and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front.
Battery Capacity and Charging Support
According to the TUV Rheinland certification, the Note 50 is expected to have a 4890mAh battery. However, it will only support 10W charging.
Pricing Speculations
While official pricing details have not been disclosed yet, speculations suggest that the Note 50 could be priced around Rs 8,000 in the Indian market.
