Realme is set to host a conference on November 22, 2023, in collaboration with Qualcomm and ArcSoft. Titled "Super Core Imaging Technology Communication Meeting," the conference aims to unveil a breakthrough in telephoto imaging. While specific details are scarce at the moment, Realme has hinted at a new turning point for telephoto imaging in a cryptic message.
This announcement follows Realme's confirmation that the GT 5 Pro smartphone will be launched this month. The GT 5 Pro is expected to feature the Sony LYTIA camera sensor, which is rumored to be the same 50MP LYT-808 sensor confirmed for the OnePlus 12.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the GT 5 Pro will also boast a 10,000mm² heat dissipation unit. Additionally, it will be the world's first smartphone to sport a BOE-customized curved-edge 6.78" 1.5K display with a 3,000 nits brightness rate. And for those who value fast charging, the smartphone will support a 240W wired fast charging feature.
Realme's upcoming conference is expected to shed more light on the GT 5 Pro and its innovative telephoto imaging technology. Stay tuned for further updates and details as they become available.
