Realme has introduced its newest V-series smartphones, the V60 and V60s, in China without much fanfare. These phones target the entry-level 5G market, delivering basic features at a budget-friendly price. Despite having different names, the V60 and V60s are almost identical in design and specifications.
Both phones feature a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution stands at 720 x 1604 pixels, and the screen can achieve a peak brightness of 625 nits. For nighttime use, the display can dim down to 1 nit.
Realme V60
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset powers the phones. This octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz for high-performance tasks and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz for everyday activities.
Memory options include 6GB or 8GB of RAM, coupled with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, the phone supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion.
The devices run on Android 14 with Realme’s custom UI, Realme UI 5.0. They are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
The rear camera module, despite having four cutouts, contains just a single 32MP sensor and an LED flash. The back of the phone features a clean design with the "Realme" logo at the bottom.
Realme V60s
On the front, an 8MP punch-hole camera is available for selfies. The overall design is quite appealing for this price range, featuring minimalist bezels around the display. Both models come in Star Gold and Turquoise color options.
Pricing is particularly intriguing. Although both phones share the same specifications, they are priced differently. The Realme V60 starts at 1,199 CNY (approximately $175 USD) for the base 6/128GB model and goes up to 1,399 CNY (approximately $205 USD) for the 8/256GB version.
Conversely, the Realme V60s starts at 1,399 CNY (approximately $205 USD) for the 6/128GB variant and reaches 1,799 CNY (approximately $265 USD) for the 8/256GB model.
