Last week, a new Realme smartphone with the model number RMX3942 got the green light from Chinese certification bodies like 3C and TENAA. TENAA shared nearly all the device's details, but it didn't show any images at first. Good news is that the updated listing has now revealed the phone's pictures. Still, the official name of the device remains a mystery. In the meantime, let's take a peek at what features this smartphone might have.
Design of the Realme RMX3942
From the TENAA images, the Realme RMX3942 appears to have a standard punch-hole display on the front. The rear side is designed with two circular camera modules, and the company’s logo is placed at the bottom. On the right side, you'll find the volume buttons along with a power button, which seems to also function as a fingerprint scanner.
Specifications of the RMX3942
According to TENAA's certification, the dimensions of the Realme RMX3942 are 165.7 x 76.22 x 8.16mm, and it weighs 197 grams. The front sports a 6.67-inch LCD screen that offers an HD+ resolution. For photography, it comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a single 50-megapixel main camera on the back, which includes an LED flash.
The RMX3942 supports 5G connectivity and runs on a 2.3GHz chipset. It houses a sizable 5,465mAh (rated value) battery. In China, the device might be available in various RAM configurations including 4 GB, 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB. There will likely be multiple storage options too, ranging from 128 GB to 1 TB. As of now, it's unclear whether this phone belongs to the upcoming Realme 14 series or if it's part of the V-series lineup for the Chinese market.

The 3C certification for the RMX3942 has indicated that it could come with a 45W charger. Interestingly, the 3C listing has also mentioned another model, RMX3953, which is also believed to include a 45W charging option. However, there are no additional details available about its specifications at this time.
