The Realme GT5 Pro, the highly anticipated flagship device from Realme, is set to launch this month with a promise to bring something new to the industry. Xu Qi, the vice president of Realme, has stated that the device will offer "a combination that has never been seen in the industry so far."
Certification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has already been obtained for the Realme GT5 Pro. In fact, a passport photo of the device has been released, giving us a sneak peek at its design. The back of the device features a large circular camera module, with the Realme logo discreetly placed at the bottom right. On the front, the display is slightly curved, adding to the device's sophisticated look.
The Realme GT5 Pro truly shines when it comes to specifications. The front of the device boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780×1264. What's even more impressive is that there will be a version of the device with a whopping 1TB of storage. With dimensions of 161.6×75.1×9.2 mm and weighing 220 grams, the Realme GT5 Pro introduces a slightly curved ultra-narrow screen with a panel from BOE. The screen's peak brightness exceeds 3000 nits, and Realme claims that the display quality and eye protection are top-notch, making it one of the best in the industry.
When it comes to battery life, the Realme GT5 Pro doesn't disappoint. It is equipped with a respectable 5400mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. However, it is worth noting that the Realme GT3, launched earlier this year, boasted 240W wired charging and was advertised to charge from 1% to 100% in just 10 minutes.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Realme GT5 Pro features a triple camera setup on the back with 50 + 50 + 8-megapixel sensors, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
Powering the Realme GT5 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, ensuring excellent performance for gamers and smartphone enthusiasts. Overall, the upcoming Realme GT5 Pro appears to be a promising device with its impressive hardware combination and design.
For comparison, the Realme GT3, launched earlier this year, offered a slightly smaller 6.74-inch display, the 8+Gen1 chip, and UFS 3.1 storage. The jump from 8+ Gen 1 to 8 Gen 3, as well as from UFS 3.1 to UFS 4.0, represents a significant upgrade for the Realme GT5 Pro.
