Chase Xu, the Vice President of Realme, recently shared that the company plans to introduce the GT 7 Pro in India later this year. The goal is to streamline their market strategy by offering the same model in both China and international markets.
New Processor and Performance
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 7 Pro will be equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. This makes it the first smartphone globally to feature this processor. The new chipset is expected to provide a notable performance enhancement, with Qualcomm aiming for a peak clock speed of up to 4.26GHz. Reports suggest that Qualcomm will reveal the SD8G4 chip in October, implying that the GT 7 Pro could launch in India during the final quarter of this year.
Upcoming Launches
Meanwhile, Realme is also gearing up to release the GT 6 in the global market. The launch is anticipated to happen sometime in July. The GT 6 is likely to have similar specifications to the China-exclusive Realme GT Neo 6. Expected features include a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with various AI-driven capabilities. The device will probably feature an OLED display with 1.5k resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additional specs include LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 50MP primary camera.
