Realme GT 7 Pro Pre-Orders Now Available in India

Realme GT 7 Pro Launch in India: Brightest Display & Top Chipset

After its debut in China earlier this month, Realme has now introduced its flagship GT 7 Pro to the Indian market. Although we previously discussed the launch in China, there are several key differences in the specifications that make it worth a second look.

Display and Design

The Realme GT 7 Pro features a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels. With an impressive peak brightness of 6500 nits, it claims to be the brightest smartphone screen available, ensuring great visibility even in bright sunlight. For comparison, the realme GT 6T had a peak brightness of 6000 nits, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra reaches 2600 nits, and its predecessor can go up to 4500 nits.

Curiously, Realme has chosen to use Samsung’s Eco² Plus OLED panel for the global version rather than the BOE panel. This display also supports a high touch sampling rate of 2600 Hz, which is particularly beneficial for gamers. The phone's 120Hz refresh rate and 120% DCI-P3 color gamut guarantee fluid visuals and vibrant colors, while the 92.8% screen-to-body ratio boosts the immersive viewing experience. Available in Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey, the device combines stylish looks with functionality, featuring IP69-rated dust and water resistance.

Performance

Under the hood, the GT 7 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. For those interested in how this chipset stacks up against others, more information is available. The phone can be configured with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and it offers storage options that go up to 512GB.

Moreover, this device supports dynamic RAM expansion up to 28GB, ensuring smooth performance even during demanding tasks. All of this is backed by a larger 1,480mm² VC cooling system, which helps maintain consistent performance over time.

Camera

The camera setup is a standout feature, led by a 50MP 3x periscope portrait lens equipped with a Sony IMX882 sensor. This is paired with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The company has shared impressive comparisons with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which can be viewed for reference.

Photography features include modes for Portrait, Night, and even Underwater (the phone is IP69 rated for dust and water resistance). Video recording capabilities are equally notable, offering 8K recording at 24fps, 4K at up to 60fps, and 1080p slow-motion at 240fps.

Battery and Charging

The Realme GT 7 Pro comes with a 5800mAh battery, which is a reduction from the 6500mAh found in the Chinese version. Nevertheless, it should still provide all-day battery life due to the efficient 3nm chipset. When it does require charging, users can connect it to the 120W SuperVOOC fast charging power adapter included in the box. According to the company's tests, the phone can be fully charged in just a “few minutes,” making it perfect for users who are always on the move.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme GT 7 Pro is available at ₹59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. As part of a launch promotion, this version can be purchased for ₹56,999, while the 16GB + 512GB model is set at ₹62,999. The device will be available for purchase in India starting November 29 and can already be pre-ordered on Realme India's official website with a deposit of Rs 1000.

With its advanced performance and competitive pricing, the Realme GT 7 Pro stands out as a strong option in the flagship market, particularly for those looking for a high-performance smartphone that can handle demanding applications effortlessly, all while remaining budget-friendly.
