Realme unveiled its affordable C75 smartphone in Vietnam last November. Although this phone hasn’t launched in India yet, it seems the company is preparing to roll out a slightly modified version called the C75x in Malaysia.
Approval and Reveal
Recently, the C75x was spotted in Malaysia’s SIRIM regulatory database, with the model number RMX5020, indicating that it has been approved for release. A promotional poster that has appeared online provides further insights, showcasing the design and some important specifications of the device.
Specifications and Features
The leaked promotional material displays a design that is quite similar to the C75, featuring a flat front and back. It also carries over important durability elements, including an IP69 rating, which ensures resistance against dust, water, and even drops, along with military-grade certification.
The smartphone will come equipped with a 5,600mAh battery, which is a bit smaller than the original model but still offers substantial power. The display, however, sees an improvement with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling and animations.
Additional Details
As for the chipset powering the C75x, the poster hasn’t disclosed that information yet. However, it is anticipated to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with the option to virtually expand the RAM up to 24GB.
The specifics of the camera remain unknown at this moment, but for comparison, the C75 features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Additionally, the phone will be offered in two colors: Coral Pink and Oceanic Blue.
No information has been released yet regarding pricing or availability, but with certification completed and marketing materials already out, the launch in Malaysia could be imminent. Stay tuned for more updates as they come in.
