The latest update for the realme 12 Pro+ has commenced its rollout in China today with the version number RMX3841_14.0.0.805 (CN01). This update, based on realmeUI 5.0, weighs 1.2GB and introduces several enhancements, such as a new air gesture feature and the AIGC photo editing function.

Earlier today, news surfaced about the AIGC photo editing feature of the realme 12 Pro series, which has already started rolling out in the US and Japan. This feature allows users to easily eliminate objects from images by simply drawing a circle around them. The feature can detect and remove objects, reconstructing the background that was initially obscured.

Specifications of realme 12 Pro+:

The realme 12 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip built on 4nm technology. Noteworthy features include a 64MP 3x telephoto camera, a 50MP main sensor with a larger 1/1.56" size, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, it sports a 32MP front camera.

Launched in January this year, the device runs on realmeUI 5.0 based on Android 14. Connectivity options include 5G support, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. Additionally, the phone boasts an IP65 dust and water resistance rating.
