Potential Pre-Order Deals Surface Ahead of Samsung Galaxy S24 Launch Event
Ahead of Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy S24 launch event, scheduled for tomorrow, January 17th, some potential pre-order deals have surfaced online. Leaks reportedly from Samsung Austria have provided insights into storage upgrades, trade-in bonuses, and exclusive online colors for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series.
Storage Upgrades and Limited Editions
According to the leaked information, buyers in Austria, and potentially other European regions, will enjoy a free storage upgrade when purchasing a Galaxy S24. For instance, those who opt for the 128GB model may receive the 256GB version instead, and so forth. However, it is worth noting that the 1TB upgrade for the Galaxy S24 Ultra might be limited to just 2,000 units across select participating retailers.
Trade-In Bonus
In addition to the storage upgrade, Samsung is offering a trade-in bonus during the pre-order period, which runs from January 17th to 30th. Customers who trade in their old devices can expect to receive a guaranteed €100 bonus on top of the standard trade-in value.
Exclusive Online Colors
Samsung is also introducing exclusive online color options for the Galaxy S24 series. Previous reports indicated that the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus would be available in Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow, while the S24 Ultra would come in Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, Titanium Yellow, and Titanium Gray.
However, the latest leak reveals that the S24 and S24 Plus will have additional online-exclusive colors, namely Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, and Sandstone Orange. The S24 Ultra will also feature exclusive online colors, including Titanium Green, Titanium Blue, and Titanium Orange.
Specifications and Features
As for the specifications, all three smartphones in the Galaxy S24 series will boast a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The devices will also feature a glass-sandwich build protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
While the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 will predominantly use the Exynos 2400 processor, the US and Canada variants will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. On the other hand, the Ultra model will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in all markets worldwide.
