Alongside the launch of the POCO M6 Plus 5G, Xiaomi's sub-brand POCO also introduced a new TWS earphone. Named the POCO Buds X1, this is the second product in POCO's audio range, priced affordably under Rs 2,000. These earphones are set to rival brands like Redmi, Realme, Noise, and boAt. Let’s delve into the features and specifications of the Buds X1.

POCO Buds X1 Specifications and Features

The POCO Buds X1 features an in-ear design with stems and silicone ear tips. They are water-resistant with an IP54 rating. The earbuds come with touch controls, allowing users to manage music playback and handle calls by tapping on the stem.

In terms of audio performance, the POCO Buds X1 are fitted with a 12.4mm dynamic driver that delivers robust bass and clear audio. They offer hybrid active noise cancellation up to 40dB and a transparency mode to keep you aware of your environment. The earphones also feature environmental noise cancellation and dual-mic AI noise cancellation for clear call quality. Additionally, Xiaomi’s anti-wind noise algorithm reduces wind noise up to 6 m/s. They are compatible with SBC and AAC codecs and come with various custom EQ modes, such as standard, enhanced treble, enhanced voice, and enhanced bass.

Connectivity and Battery Life

The POCO Buds X1 use Bluetooth 5.3 and support Google Fast Pair. Each earbud has a 45mAh battery, offering 7 hours of usage with ANC off and 4.5 hours with ANC on. With the charging and storage case, the total battery life extends to 36 hours. The earphones can be quickly charged via a USB-C port, providing 2 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging.

The POCO Buds X1 are priced at Rs 1,799 and are available in a Titanium color. They will be available for purchase starting August 5 on Flipkart.
