Oppo Reno 13 Series to Showcase Top-Left Matrix Camera Design

Oppo is said to be working on its new Reno 13 series, which earlier rumors suggest will come with a strong chipset and a high-quality display. Recently, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has provided additional information about the camera design and visual improvements.

Camera Design Details

As per DCS, the Reno 13 series might launch with a matrix-style camera setup located in the top-left corner of the device. The regular version is expected to have a dual vertical camera arrangement, while the Pro version is likely to come with a triple camera system and a centered punch-hole quad-curved display. The tipster also mentioned that the Pro model will have significant enhancements in camera technology and design, with purple being a prominent color choice.

Rumored Specifications of Oppo Reno 13 Pro

Moving on to other specifications, DCS previously suggested that the Reno 13 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED display boasting a resolution of 2780×1264 (referred to as 1.5K), along with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside the Reno 13 Pro, it is rumored to be equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 9300 chipset, although there’s no information available yet regarding RAM and storage. The Pro version is also expected to have a durable metal frame and will likely operate on ColorOS 15 right out of the box.

Battery and Camera Features

The Reno 13 series is rumored to include impressive battery capacities, with the standard model having a 5,600mAh battery and the Pro version at 5,900mAh. Furthermore, the Pro model is likely to support 80W fast wired charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging.

The Reno 13 Pro is predicted to attract photography lovers with its 50MP periscope telephoto lens that provides 3x optical zoom, along with a 50MP front-facing camera. Additionally, it is anticipated to offer underwater photography features and an IP-rated water-resistant metal body, making it appealing to adventurous users.

While Oppo hasn't officially announced the Reno 13 series, it is expected to be unveiled on November 25 in China. Currently, Oppo is prioritizing its Find X8 series for the Double Eleven shopping festival, so teasers for the Reno 13 should be coming soon.

As more information surfaces, the Reno 13 series seems set to attract users looking for a premium design and strong features, representing another advancement in Oppo's mid-to-high-end smartphone lineup.
