Oppo Reno 13 and 13 Pro Real-Life Images Reveal iPhone Design

Oppo has begun taking pre-orders for its Reno 13 series in China. This collection features the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro, which are scheduled to be officially launched on November 25, together with the Oppo Pad 3.

Phone Designs Remain a Mystery

While Oppo has started to tease the launch, the actual designs of the phones have not been revealed yet. Only a few comparisons between the Reno 13 series and Apple's iPhones have appeared, giving glimpses into the design. Recently, an X user shared real-life photos of both the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro smartphones.

Camera and Display Features

Both devices showcase similar camera islands made of cold-craved glass, drawing clear inspiration from the design elements found in iPhones. Furthermore, both models feature chamfered edges. Weibo posts have also disclosed the front design of the phones, highlighting their slim bezels.

Specifications of the Reno 13 Series

The standard Reno 13 is anticipated to sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will probably be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, although the specific model remains uncertain. The front will include a 50-megapixel selfie camera, while the back is expected to have a triple-lens configuration, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. A large 5,600mAh battery is also expected to power the device.

Information about the Pro variant is less defined, but it is rumored to have a similar flat design with a metal frame. It is expected to feature a larger 6.83-inch micro-quad-curved panel, maintaining the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Power and Camera Specifications

Rumors suggest that the Reno 13 Pro will be equipped with a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC under the hood. The battery capacity is likely to be a bit bigger at 5,900mAh, and it will also support both wired and wireless charging. The camera system for the Pro variant is said to include a 50-megapixel main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens for zoomed photography, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

Both the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro are expected to operate on ColorOS 15 and will offer enhanced durability with dust and water resistance features.
