The Oppo Pad Air 2, the successor to the original Oppo Pad Air, has been unveiled in China. This budget tablet was announced alongside the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro. While most of the details about the device were already leaked or teased officially, it is worth noting that the Oppo Pad Air 2 has already been released in global markets as the OnePlus Pad Go.
Design and Display
Taking design cues from the Oppo Pad 2, the Oppo Pad Air 2 features rounded corners and a center-mounted rear camera. The back panel comes in a dual-tone finish. The tablet boasts an 11.35-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2408 x 1720 pixels (2.4K) and 260 PPI. The screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness level of 400 nits.
Specifications and Features
Under the hood, the Oppo Pad Air 2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, coupled with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on ColorOS 13.2 based on Android 13. The tablet is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Unfortunately, it does not have a MicroSD card slot or a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, it does come with Dolby Atmos-supported quad stereo speakers.
Connectivity options on the Oppo Pad Air 2 include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C. It is fueled by an 8,000mAh battery and supports 33W SuperVOOC charging.
