OPPO unveiled the Reno 12 series smartphones and the Enco Air 4 Pro TWS earphones earlier today in China. At the event, the brand also introduced a new color option for the OPPO Pad Air 2. This tablet was initially launched last November and was available in Space Grey and Streamer Silver. The new color variant shares the same design and specifications as the initial options. OPPO Pad Air 2 gets a new color option
The OPPO Pad Air 2 is now available in an Aurora Purple color. This variant features a soft Purple hue with a dual-tone finish on the back panel. A circular camera is centrally located at the rear. The newly announced color option is currently available for pre-booking, with sales starting on May 31.
Pricing and Specifications
The OPPO Pad Air 2 Aurora Purple is priced the same as the other two color options: CNY 1,299 for the base 6GB + 128GB, CNY 1,499 for the 8GB + 128GB, and CNY 1,699 for the 8GB + 256GB configurations. However, there is a pre-sale offer that makes the Aurora Purple variant available for CNY 100 less on all variants.
The OPPO Pad Air 2 features an 11.35-inch display with a 2.4K resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits peak brightness. It comes with quad stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos. The tablet has 8MP cameras on both the front and back. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.2 out of the box. Additionally, the OPPO Pad Air 2 is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
