Oppo Pad 3, OnePlus Pad 2, and Watch Launch Reportedly Delayed

Oppo is reportedly developing a new high-end tablet, the Pad 3, which might be branded as the OnePlus Pad 2 for international release.

However, according to trusted tech insider Digital Chat Station, the release of these devices and several other IoT products has been delayed.

Postponed Products

The delayed items include the Oppo Pad 3 and OnePlus Pad, both featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The OnePlus Watch with the Snapdragon W5, new color variants for the OnePlus Buds 3, and the high-end Enco X3 earphones are also affected.

Launch Details

The reason behind these postponements remains unknown, which is unexpected given that the Oppo Pad 3 was anticipated to launch next month in China.

Specifications

The Pad 3 is rumored to come with a 12.1-inch LCD panel offering a 3K resolution (3000 x 2120 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is expected to have a 7:5 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 900 nits.

The device will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It will feature a substantial 9,510mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging. The tablet will run on an Android 14-based ColorOS custom skin.

Digital Chat Station previously mentioned that the Pad 3 will boast an all-metal body with a sleek design. Photography-wise, the tablet will include an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Additionally, the Oppo Pad 3 is expected to support the Oppo Pencil 2, enhanced with a linear motor, according to rumors.
