OPPO K12x Launches in China with Starting Price of $180

OPPO recently launched its K12x smartphone this month, featuring a Snapdragon 695 processor, a robust 5500mAh battery, and 80W fast charging capabilities. Today, it went on its first sale.

The phone is offered in three variants: 8GB+256GB priced at 1,299 yuan ($180), 12GB+256GB at 1,499 yuan ($207), and 12GB+512GB for 1,799 yuan ($249).

Design and Display

Available in titanium air gray and condensed green, the K12x weighs 191g and has a thickness of 8.1mm. It boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080, a peak brightness of 2100 nits, and a full-screen brightness of 1200 nits. The display supports wet-hand touch and offers refresh rates of 120Hz/60Hz.

Performance and Battery

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor with a peak frequency of 2.2GHz, the K12x is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The 5500mAh battery supports several fast charging protocols, including SuperVOOC, VOOC 3.0, PD3.0, and UFCS.

Camera Features

The camera system features a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, but lacks OIS. Additionally, there is a 2MP portrait lens with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 16MP front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture and an 82° field of view.
