Upcoming Oppo Devices

Oppo is getting ready to unveil the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in China before this month ends. Meanwhile, the company has released sample images taken with the new 200 MP telephoto camera on the Find X9 Pro. These images indicate that the camera offers a default 70 mm or 3x optical zoom. Furthermore, the 200 MP sensor seems to maintain a commendable level of detail, even when zoomed in significantly.

Camera Specifications

Conversely, Oppo has integrated this sensor with an f/2.1 aperture. Although this is inferior to the apertures found in many leading smartphone cameras today, an f/2.1 aperture should allow for better light capture compared to the f/2.6 aperture in the existing Find X8 Pro. Reports suggest that this sensor has been upgraded to a 1/1.56-inch optical format, which is an improvement over the 1/1.95-inch sensor used in last year’s model.

In addition, Oppo plans to pair the ISOCELL HP5 with a Sony LYT-828 primary camera that measures 1/1.28-inch, along with a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The device is also expected to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO display with a resolution of 1.5K, along with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. Oppo has teased support for 4K/120 FPS Dolby Vision video recording on the Find X9 Pro, which hints at their ambition to compete with Apple for the top spot among videographer smartphones.
