Oppo A5 Pro Launching Soon: Full Specs Revealed by TENAA

Recently, a new Oppo smartphone identified by the model number PKP110 got the green light from China's MIIT authority. The certification provided some images of the device, indicating it might belong to the A-series. Following this, the device has also been approved by TENAA, which disclosed its primary specifications. Speculations suggest that once it launches in the Chinese market, it might be called the Oppo A5 Pro.

Oppo A5 Pro Details (Speculated)

According to the TENAA information, the Oppo A5 Pro (PKP110) has dimensions of 161.5 x 74.85 x 7.67mm and weighs about 186 grams. It looks like the phone will have a curved-edge AMOLED display. The size of the screen is 6.7 inches, featuring FHD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is likely to support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Performance and Storage Options

The rumored A5 Pro is said to be powered by a 2.5GHz processor, probably the Dimensity 7300 SoC, as listed by TENAA. The device will likely be available in RAM options of 8 GB and 12 GB. For storage, it is expected to provide choices of 256 GB and 512 GB.

Battery and Camera Features

The A5 Pro is rumored to have a battery capacity of 5,840mAh, which implies a standard size around 6,000mAh. Currently, there is no word on the fast-charging features of the smartphone. It is still uncertain if the device will come with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 right out of the box. For picture-taking, the A5 Pro is equipped with a 16-megapixel camera on the front. On the back, there's a round camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. Although the TENAA listing does not confirm it, the device might have IP69-level dust and water resistance, similar to what the Oppo A3 Pro offers, which was unveiled this past April.
