OPPO has quietly introduced a new smartphone in the Indian market. The latest model is the OPPO A3x. This budget-friendly device comes with notable features such as a high refresh rate display, military-grade durability, a robust processor, and more. Interestingly, this is the first time the brand has unveiled a smartphone in the A-series with the 'X' designation, as there was no A2x in India. Let's explore what this new device has to offer.
OPPO A3x Specifications and Features
The OPPO A3x is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD display featuring an HD+ resolution. It boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout. The screen is designed to remain highly responsive even if your fingers are wet or greasy. The OPPO A3x has passed military-grade MIL-STD 810H tests, making it resistant to shocks and drops. Additionally, it is said to be resistant to various types of liquids, so accidental spills won't be a concern. The smartphone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a squircle camera module on the rear panel.
The device features a single 8MP main rear camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie camera.
Hardware and Performance
Under the hood, the OPPO A3x is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and is available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. There is also 4GB of virtual memory on board. The device is fueled by a 5,100mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. On the software front, it runs Android 14 OS out of the box.

The OPPO A3x is priced at Rs 12,499 for the base 64GB model, while the 128GB variant costs Rs 13,499. It is available in three colors: Starry Purple, Sparkle Black, and Starlight White. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting August 7 from OPPO’s website and retail stores.
