OnePlus has announced its next product event. The OnePlus Summer launch event is scheduled for later this month. The OnePlus Summer launch event is set for July 16 at 3 pm CEST (6:30 pm IST) in Milan, Italy. According to the microsite on the company’s official website, an invitation metal card reads, “Some say it’s impossible in the 5G era to make a smartphone with the strength, sophistication, and enduring quality of metal. We say…Never Settle.” It further mentions that with the advent of 5G, metal, a symbol of design excellence, was abandoned.
Teasers and Speculations
Another teaser from OnePlus features the Nord in a silver color, hinting at the arrival of the OnePlus Nord 4 with a metal design. This aligns with previous reports suggesting the launch timeline. The Nord CE 4 Lite 5G and Nord CE 4 (review) are already available globally, and the predecessor of the upcoming device was launched last July. Leading up to the event, OnePlus will officially reveal more details. The Summer launch event is also anticipated to introduce the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro TWS earphones and the OnePlus Watch 2R.
Expected Features of OnePlus Nord 4
The OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Ace 3V available in China. The Ace 3V boasts a 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera, a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging.
