Oppo’s executive Zhou Yibao has shared new insights on the Find N5, which is anticipated to be released in various markets under the name OnePlus Open 2. Earlier this week, CEO Pete Lau presented the device in a collection of images, giving a first glimpse of its foldable screen alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,256.99 on Amazon).
Stunning New Images
Recently, Oppo has released photos of a pristine Find N5, which we have included below. If these latest images are any indication, the Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2 are set to offer a nearly crease-free experience within a slimmer design compared to their direct predecessors. This seems to hold true even when the display is turned off, which is quite different from many current foldable phones.
Protective Features
Zhou Yibao has also assured that Oppo will provide a protective case with the Find N5, designed to shield its back panel and hinge mechanism. Consistent with their practice, Oppo will also put a plastic outer screen protector that extends nearly to the edges of its expansive cover display. The Find N5 is expected to be available worldwide in less than two weeks. This time frame also appears to apply to the OnePlus Open 2, which is set to launch alongside the Find N3 in October 2023.
