OnePlus is developing a new smartphone named the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, which will follow the popular Nord CE 3 Lite 5G. The device has recently been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification database after previously appearing on BIS, TDRA certification, and the Bluetooth SIG database.
Certification Details
The certification confirms that the OnePlus CPH2621 is indeed the forthcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G. The Indian variant of the device is expected to have the model number CPH2619. While the certification only confirms the model number, it does not provide further details.
Key Specifications
Interestingly, this CPH2621 model has also been listed on Geekbench, Eurofins, and Camera FV 5 databases, revealing some key specifications. According to the Geekbench listing, this device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. This raises questions, as the brand has already released the Nord CE 4 smartphone in India with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It seems unusual that OnePlus would opt to use a more powerful chip in what is essentially an entry-level device.
Additional Rumors
Previous rumors have suggested that the device might feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. Besides the processor, the phone is expected to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also anticipated to have a large 5,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities.
We will provide updates as we get more information about the model number situation. Stay tuned for further details.
