The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is on the verge of its debut, having recently secured approval from Malaysia’s SIRIM. The phone, bearing the model number “CPH2621”, was certified on May 24, 2024, hinting at an upcoming release in Malaysia.
Certification and Features
The device had previously appeared on global certification platforms like TDRA, IMDA, and BIS, confirming it will support NFC and come equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery capable of 80W fast charging. While additional specifications are still under wraps, it’s speculated that the phone will be a rebranded version of the Oppo A3.
Expected Specifications
Rumors indicate the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G might be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. It is anticipated to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a triple rear camera system comprising 50MP, 2MP, and 16MP lenses.
Software and Pricing
The phone is likely to launch with Android 14 and promises two OS updates along with three years of security patches. Its predecessor, the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, was priced starting below Rs 20,000 in India. Thus, it’s expected that the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will be offered at a similar price point.
