OnePlus Ace 3 Pro Schematic Leak Reveals Minimal Design Changes

OnePlus is gearing up to introduce the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro in China soon. The launch is anticipated to be either by the end of this month or in early July, likely before the June 18 shopping festival. Multiple sources have suggested that the Ace 3 Pro will come with a redesigned rear panel. Tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared a schematic of what appears to be an engineering prototype of the upcoming smartphone. Although the device’s name wasn’t explicitly mentioned, it’s quite clear that the design revealed is likely that of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro.

Design Highlights of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro

The schematic shared by Digital Chat Station shows a device similar in design to the OnePlus Ace 3. The front will feature a curved edge screen, while the back will sport a round camera module. A pill-shaped LED flash will be positioned at the left corner of the camera setup. The left side of the device will house an alert slider, and the right side will feature a volume rocker and a power button.

There are noticeable changes in the Ace 3 Pro’s camera module compared to previous OnePlus flagship models. Unlike its predecessors, the camera module on the Ace 3 Pro will not merge with the device's edge. Reports indicate that the phone will come with a metal middle frame and options for a ceramic, leather, or glass back panel. Additionally, it will offer IP64-rated dust and water resistance.

Rumored Specifications for the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of up to 4,500 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 6,100mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.

The front camera is expected to be a 16-megapixel sensor, while the rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The device will run on Android 14, layered with ColorOS 14.1. The starting price is anticipated to be around 3,000 Yuan (~$415).
