OnePlus 15s Global Launch Plans Uncertain in New Leak

Compact Flagship History

The OnePlus 13T was actually launched in China in April 2025, it had the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as a compact flagship phone. Later, this device came outside China but with a different name, the OnePlus 13s.

Successor Has Arrived

The OnePlus 13T has already been succeeded by the OnePlus 15T in China. This new compact phone launched in China in March 2026, with a price tag of CNY 4,899 which is about $723. However, there is still no official announcement regarding its global counterpart, which would be the OnePlus 15s.

Key Specifications of the 15T

For some context here, the 15T features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display that boasts a 165Hz refresh rate. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is similar to the standard OnePlus 15 (curr. $849 on Amazon). The phone also comes with a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a massive 7,500mAh battery.

Tipster Casts Doubt on Global Launch

Tipster Yogesh Brar on X has now made a claim that the OnePlus 15s may not launch at all. The same tipster also suggested that the next-generation OnePlus 16 has not yet been finalized for the Indian market.

Scaling Back Operations?

For context, there have been multiple reports suggesting that OnePlus is reducing its operations across several global markets. However, the company is still releasing new products in India, including the upcoming OnePlus N6 which is an affordable model with a huge 8,000mAh battery. It remains unclear if OnePlus’ next flagship models will launch internationally or if they will stay exclusive to China.
