According to the details provided in the listing, this smartphone is equipped with a system on chip (SoC) that aligns with the specifications of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. This SoC is considered mid-range, sitting below the 7+ Gen 3 and 8s Gen 3 versions.
Performance Expectations
When Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, they emphasized its compatibility with Gen AI support, suggesting that the Nothing Phone (3) will effectively manage on-device AI functionalities. Nevertheless, in terms of overall performance, it may lag behind the flagship smartphones from the previous generation.
Company Strategy
It’s important to mention that None of the Nothing phones have debuted with the latest top-tier SoC. During the introduction of Phone (2), the company mentioned its emphasis on stability, which is often achieved through well-established chipsets.
