HMD Global, in collaboration with Nokia, has introduced two new feature phones in India—the Nokia 235 4G and the Nokia 220 4G. These releases follow the recent unveiling of the revamped Nokia 3210 (2024), highlighting Nokia’s continued investment in the feature phone sector.
The Nokia 235 4G (2024) features a 2.8-inch IPS display and a 2MP rear camera. It runs on a Unisoc T107 processor and the Nokia S30+ operating system. The phone comes with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a 1450mAh removable battery, providing up to 9.8 hours of talk time.
Connectivity and Features
Connectivity options for the Nokia 235 4G include Bluetooth v5.0, a headphone jack, and USB-C for charging. The device also supports basic applications such as an MP3 player, FM radio, and cloud apps. Users can access news and weather updates, YouTube Shorts, and the classic Snake game. Additionally, it includes Scan & Pay UPI apps for convenient digital payments.
The Nokia 220 4G has similar specifications to the Nokia 235 4G but lacks a camera. It also supports UPI applications that have been approved by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), facilitating easy digital transactions.
Pricing and Availability
The Nokia 235 4G is priced at Rs. 3,749 and is available in Blue, Black, and Purple. The Nokia 220 4G is available for Rs. 3,249 and comes in Peach and Black. Both devices can be purchased starting today on HMD’s website, Amazon.in, and at retail stores throughout India.
