Motorola is preparing to introduce the Edge 50 Pro smartphone in India soon. The brand, owned by Lenovo, has already disclosed the chipset that will drive the device. Now, details regarding the display and camera of the upcoming smartphone have been unveiled on the Flipkart microsite.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will feature a curved pOLED display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. According to the microsite, the phone will boast a 6.7-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will provide 2,000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Additionally, the device will include an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The display is Pantone Validated, ensuring lifelike colors and precise skin tones.
Camera and Display Details
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will introduce the first Pantone Validated camera globally. This signifies that the colors and skin tones in captured images will be validated by Pantone. The rear camera island will house three sensors, led by a 50MP main lens. The smartphone will incorporate AI functionalities such as adaptive stabilization, autofocus tracking, tilt mode, and more. Users can also expect Generative AI theming for creating unique wallpapers powered by AI.
Color Options and Processor
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be available in three colors ā Violet and Black featuring a faux leather texture, as well as a gradient hue resembling a mix of Grey and Cream. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, as previously confirmed.
