Motorola is preparing to introduce a new mid-range smartphone to the global market, the Moto G85 5G. Earlier this month, the device appeared on Geekbench and a European retail site, revealing some of its key details and pricing. Now, Tooljunction has leaked renders of the device.
The leaked images show that the Moto G85 features a curved-edge display with slim top and bottom bezels, a departure from its predecessor, the Moto G84, which had a flat display. The sides of the Moto G85 are also curved, and the back hosts a dual-camera setup on a uni-body camera bump, along with a flash module. The camera bump is labeled with 50MP + OIS, indicating that it will have a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization.
Specifications
According to previous reports, the Moto G85 will be equipped with an unannounced Qualcomm processor featuring the Adreno 619 GPU, which is also found in the Snapdragon 695 and Snapdragon 480. Geekbench listings show that this new processor has a base clock speed of 2.02GHz and a peak clock speed of 2.30GHz. It is expected that this processor will be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 3.
Pricing and Models
The device will be available in an 8GB RAM model and a 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage. The latter is expected to be priced at around €300. More details are anticipated to be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
