Motorola is gearing up to release its new budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the Moto G35, in India on December 10. After its global launch, pricing information for the Moto G35 has been disclosed via a Flipkart microsite, providing potential buyers in India with clearer expectations.
Pricing and Availability
As per the Flipkart listing, the Moto G35 5G is likely to be priced below Rs 10,000 in India, which is, interestingly, lower than the Rs 10,999 price point of the Moto G34 5G. This pricing strategy not only makes the device a cost-effective choice but also ensures it meets the needs of many users.
Specifications and Features
The Moto G35 5G brings several enhancements compared to its predecessor. The smartphone will sport a 6.7-inch 120Hz Full HD+ display, a notable upgrade from the HD+ screen in the Moto G34. The global version boasts a peak brightness of 1000nits, which is quite impressive for an IPS display.
Under the hood, the Moto G35 will be driven by the Unisoc T760 SoC, stepping in for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset used in the last model. Although the Unisoc T760 may not exactly match the performance of the Snapdragon 695, it is anticipated to deliver enough power for daily tasks along with 5G capabilities.
Camera and Software
On the camera side, the Moto G35 provides a major improvement, featuring a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, in contrast to the 2MP macro lens on the Moto G34. For selfies, it will include a 16MP front camera, promising clear and sharp images for pictures and video calls.
In terms of software, the Moto G35 will come with a streamlined and lightweight user interface based on Android 14. Motorola has also pledged one OS upgrade and two years of security updates, ensuring that the device remains current for a good part of its lifespan.
The Moto G35 will have a 5,000mAh battery with 20W wired charging support, similar to its predecessor. It will launch in three color choices: Black, Green, and Red, and will be available exclusively through Flipkart.
