The LG 21HQ613D monitor is tailored for specialized medical uses such as mammography, boasting a resolution of 2048 x 2560 pixels that accentuates its 4:5 aspect ratio.

FDA Approval and Connectivity

The newly launched LG 21HQ613D IPS monitor has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its application as a medical device. This monitor offers video connectivity options through DisplayPort or DVI and succeeds the LG 21HQ513 model, which has a comparatively lower resolution. The preceding 21HQ513 monitor with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 is currently listed on eBay for $4,923. An eminent feature of the LG 21HQ613D is its remarkable brightness of 1,100 nits and a contrast ratio of 1800:1. Noteworthy specifications include a PPI value of 153.9 and support for various viewing modes.

This advanced LG monitor facilitates the dimming of specific image areas while enhancing focus on others, boasting color space coverage of 100% (sRGB) and 72% of NTSC.
