Lenovo recently introduced the YOGA Air 14s Snapdragon Edition laptop, which is priced at 9999 Yuan ($1,375). The laptop is now available for purchase in China.
The YOGA Air 14s is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 processor and comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCle 4.0 high-speed storage.
Display, Design, and Other Features
The laptop features a sleek metal body, measuring just 12.9mm in thickness and weighing only 1.29kg. It is available in two colors: “Hanyu Blue” and “Light Sea Shell.” For a better idea of the color options, refer to the image below.
Upon opening the lid, you will find a 2.9K (2944×1840) high-resolution OLED screen that boasts a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display offers an enjoyable viewing experience with a 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut (typical). Additionally, the keyboard provides 1.5mm key travel for comfortable typing.
Connectivity and Performance
The device includes 3XUSB4 ports for high-speed data transfer and offers Wi-Fi 7 for wireless connectivity.
As previously mentioned, the laptop is equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 chipset. This chipset is manufactured by TSMC using a 4nm process and includes 12 Oryon CPU cores that can reach a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz. The integrated Adreno GPU delivers a performance of 3.8TFLOPS, and the NPU offers a performance of 45TOPS, making it the fastest NPU available for Windows devices. The chipset is also highly power-efficient and provides impressive performance, even when running x86 applications.
The laptop also features the YOGA Qiankun heat dissipation system, which includes dual boost fans and is designed to operate relatively quietly. According to Lenovo, the noise level remains at 21dB for most daily use scenarios.
