Real-life images of the Honor Magic 7 Pro have surfaced, thanks to the well-known Weibo tipster @旺仔百事通. According to these leaked photos, the Honor Magic 7 series, set to launch in January 2025, will continue to feature an equal-depth quad-curved display.
Design and Camera Features
The images show that the Honor Magic 7 Pro will include a centered pill-shaped cutout for the selfie camera and an additional sensor. Notably, this cutout appears to be smaller than the one on the Honor Magic 6 Pro. The Magic 7 Pro maintains the flat middle frame and rounded corners seen in its predecessors. Additionally, rumors indicate that the new device will boast improved imaging capabilities, an enhanced display with the same 1.5k resolution as before, and a high-density silicon-carbon anode battery. It’s speculated that Honor is testing the phone with the 50 MP OmniVision OV50H and the Sony IMX882 as the primary and periscope telephoto cameras, respectively.
AI and Performance Enhancements
Adding to the anticipation, Honor is likely to introduce a new AI Agent with the Magic 7 series, potentially positioning it as an AI-focused flagship device or an ‘AI phone’. With design leaks in circulation, the official launch of the Honor Magic 7 series seems near. Earlier rumors suggested that the series would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Given Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 platform launch in October, it is probable that Honor will reveal the Magic 7 series around the same period.
Market Competition
The smartphone market is becoming increasingly competitive, with numerous flagship releases anticipated before the Double Eleven event in China.
