Tipster Ronald Quandt recently revealed images of a TWS earphone, hinting that they might be the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. However, an image of the packaging box has surfaced on Instagram, confirming that the product is actually the standard Galaxy Buds 3. You can see the image below.
The stem is expected to improve the call quality
Rumors had suggested that the Galaxy Buds 3 series would abandon the bean-shaped design in favor of a more conventional one with a stem. This marks the first time Galaxy Buds will feature a stem. The image shows the Galaxy Buds 3 in white with a black strip on the stem.
Hundreds of companies have released TWS earphones with similar designs over the past few years. Samsung is not only joining this trend but is also the latest to adopt the stem design.
The black strip could be a touch-sensitive area on the earbuds, and its unique color might be intended to distinguish it from similar products. Nevertheless, the new design has been labeled as “AirPods-like.”
The company's bean-shaped earphones, since the launch of the Galaxy Buds+ in 2020, have had average microphone performance. The new design may improve this, as the microphones will be positioned closer to the user's mouth. Along with potential enhancements in call quality, the redesign is also expected to provide more internal space. This could accommodate a larger battery, a more powerful chipset, and additional sensors, enhancing the overall user experience.
Another TWS earphone has appeared online, along with its charging case. An image showing the earphone and a flip phone demonstrates Samsung's fast pairing system, indicating the product as the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. You can view the images here.
