Huawei Unveils Special Edition Tablets Alongside Nova 12 Series Smartphones
Earlier today, Huawei held a launch event in China to introduce the Nova 12 series smartphones. However, that wasn't the only highlight of the event. The brand also took the opportunity to unveil special editions of its MatePad Pro 2024 tablets. Let's take a closer look at what Huawei has in store for tablet enthusiasts.
Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ Collector’s Edition
Huawei has introduced the MatePad Pro 13.2″ Collector’s Edition in a new color scheme. This tablet comes with a 16GB/1TB configuration and includes the Star Flash Keyboard, the Star Flash Stylus, and the flagship Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 for an enhanced user experience. To top it off, the Collector's Edition also comes with a two-year Huawei Care package, ensuring peace of mind for users.
Huawei MatePad Pro Star Flash Set
In addition to the Collector's Edition, Huawei has launched the Star Flash Set for both the MatePad Pro 13.2″ and MatePad Pro 11″ tablets. This set includes the Star Flash Keyboard and Stylus, offering users improved connectivity and professional-level writing and drawing capabilities. The MatePad Pros in the Star Flash Set have similar specifications to their regular counterparts.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 (review) features a 13.2-inch flexible OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, P3 color gamut, and an impressive 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. With a slim profile measuring just 5.5mm thick and weighing 580 grams, this tablet is highly portable.
Under the hood, the MatePad Pro 13.2″ is powered by the Kirin 9000s chipset and offers a maximum of 16GB of RAM and a spacious 1TB internal storage capacity. The device houses a sizable 10,100mAh battery that supports rapid 88W fast charging, allowing for an 85% charge in just 40 minutes and a full charge in 65 minutes.
The tablet delivers an immersive audio experience with its 6 dual-channel speakers, spatial audio, and Huawei Sound certification.
