Price isn’t the only factor to choose the Keychron M6 over the MX Master. The Keychron M6 has consistently presented itself as a strong contender against the very popular Logitech MX Master mouse series. It’s also reprogrammable, although there are some subtle differences in how these features are implemented.

The updated Keychron M6 1K is now equipped with the PixArt 3311 sensor, which is a minor downgrade from the 3950 found in the previous 1K model, particularly concerning gaming features. Additionally, the metal scroll wheel allows for customizable acceleration, enabling users to fine-tune their settings. The soft-touch coating also offers a comfortable experience. The new 1K variant includes a USB Type-C dongle, enhancing compatibility with devices like MacBooks while maintaining a snappy feel with the 1 kHz polling rate.
Functional Enhancements
The earlier M6 1K had infinite scroll capability but featured a plastic scroll wheel, which felt inferior and resulted in louder scrolling in notched mode.
