iQOO is gearing up to introduce its Z9 series in China on April 24th, which will include the iQOO Z9x, Z9, and Z9 Turbo models.

Leading to the launch, iQOO has been hinting at the features of these smartphones. Ahead of the launch event, real photos of the iQOO Z9 and Z9 have surfaced on Weibo, a popular Chinese social media platform.
Design and Features
The leaked images showcase the iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo sporting a similar design. Both devices boast a flat OLED display at the front and a square-shaped camera setup at the back housing a dual-camera system. However, the Z9x is anticipated to have a distinct rear design compared to its counterparts.
Specifications Revealed
From the settings page, the specifications of both smartphones have been unveiled. The iQOO Z9 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 12GB of virtual RAM, along with 512GB of storage.
The Z9 Turbo, on the other hand, will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 16GB of RAM (with 16GB of virtual RAM), and 512GB of storage. There are also rumors suggesting that the Z9 Turbo may come with a dedicated graphics chip for managing demanding tasks.
Battery and Software
Both the Z9 and Z9 Turbo will feature a robust 6,000mAh battery. Software-wise, they are set to run on OriginOS 4, which is based on Android 14.
Moreover, in an official poster released today, iQOO confirmed that all three phones will have an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water.
