iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Launch: Official Image Reveals Design

iQOO has shared its first teaser for the upcoming iQOO Z9 Turbo+ on its Weibo account in China. According to a leak from tipster Digital Chat Station, the Z9 Turbo+ might be launched between mid and late September.

iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Design

The teaser image reveals that the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ features a flat screen on the front. The back of the phone showcases a squircle-shaped camera island that contains two cameras, with a dual-tone LED flash positioned next to the camera module. The left side of the Z9 Turbo+ seems to be devoid of any buttons, suggesting that the volume rocker and power button are likely on the right side of the device. Its design closely resembles the iQOO Z9 Turbo, which was released earlier this year in China with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Specifications (Rumored)

Rumor has it that the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will sport a 6.78-inch flat OLED display, offering a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. For security purposes, it will come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The phone is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, while the rear camera setup might include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It is anticipated to operate on Android 14 and OriginOS 4.

Internally, the device is rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset and will include a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Details regarding its RAM and storage options have yet to be disclosed.

Conclusion

To sum up, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ and the existing Z9 Turbo appear to be very similar in design, with the significant difference being the inclusion of the latest Dimensity chip in the Turbo+ model, compared to the Snapdragon SoC in the standard version. The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is expected to be priced at approximately 2,000 Yuan (around $280).
