On April 24, China will see an official unveiling of the iQOO Z9 Turbo smartphone - marking another addition to Z-series phones featuring powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Competition with other similar offerings include Redmi Turbo 3 and soon-to-be released Realme GT Neo 6.
Reports indicate that alongside its Turbo model, iQOO may also release variants equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 6 Gen 1. However, it remains uncertain whether these will make their debut simultaneously with this Turbo edition.
Rumored Specifications of IQOO Z9 Turbo
IQOO has verified key specifications of the Z9 Turbo, including its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, an ample 6,000mAh battery capacity and 6K VC heat dissipation system with 6K V-Cooling fan technology for heat dissipation, along with its dedicated graphics chip and reports indicating its OLED display will feature 1.5K resolution with fast refresh rate (144Hz refresh), 2160Hz PWM dimming feature and in-screen fingerprint sensors - among many other things.
Rumor has it that Z9 Turbo may feature 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5x RAM coupled with 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage, operating on OriginOS 4-based Android 14 with 16MP front camera and dual back cameras featuring one 50-MP main shooter with OIS support - although pricing details have yet to be made public.
