The Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro, identified by the model numbers iPA2453 and iPA2475 respectively, have received approval from the 3C authority in China. The brand has officially announced that the Pad 2 Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.
iQOO Pad 2 Pro to Introduce Dimensity 9300 Plus
Mediatek has introduced the 3.4GHz Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset in China, an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300 found in devices like the Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and Vivo Pad 3 Pro. Vivo and iQOO have confirmed that the upcoming Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, and iQOO Neo 9S Pro will incorporate the new Dimensity 9300+ SoC.
The iQOO Pad 2 Pro is set to become the world's first tablet to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. The Neo 9S Pro is expected to debut in China this month (May), raising questions about whether the Pad 2 Pro will also launch alongside it.
iQOO Pad 2 Pro Rumored Specifications
According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the iQOO Pad 2 Pro is rumored to feature a 13-inch LCD display with 3.1K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The tablet will include a Monster+ performance mode for exceptional gaming capabilities and is speculated to house an 11,500mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging. Additionally, the tablet's USB-C port is anticipated to support the USB 3.2 standard.
Vivo Pad 3 Pro Comparison
The iQOO Pad 2 Pro is expected to share similar specifications with the Vivo Pad 3 Pro, which was unveiled last month in China, except for the updated chipset. This suggests that the Pad 2 Pro may sport an 8-megapixel front camera, a 13-megapixel rear camera, eight speakers, and run on Android 14 OS with OriginOS 4.0 skin.
