iQOO is getting ready to launch the iQOO Neo 10 smartphone series in China soon. This series is reported to include two models: the iQOO Neo 10 and the Neo 10 Pro. The Neo 10 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from last year, while the Pro version is expected to sport the advanced MediaTek Dimensity 9400.
Performance Insights
Before the official launch, scheduled for November 29, 2024, the brand has shared the performance stats of the Neo 10 Pro. According to a recent update from iQOO’s Weibo account, the iQOO Neo 10 Pro has surpassed the highest Android benchmark score of 3.2 million on AnTuTu, achieving a score of 3,204,156 points. The company also confirmed that this device is equipped with LPDDR5X Ultra (9600Mbps) RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. While these numbers might reflect ideal conditions, users can look forward to a significant performance improvement in real-world usage compared to last year's Neo model.
Benchmarking Results
The device was also seen on Geekbench 6, where it joined the Neo 10 model and scored 2914 points in the single-core test and 9300 points in the multi-core test. Additionally, iQOO has confirmed that the Neo 10 series will feature the Sony IMX921 camera sensor, which is also included in the Vivo X200. Expectations are that the series will come with an 8T LTPO display panel boasting a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Battery and Design Features
This series is likely to include a large 6,100mAh silicon carbon anode battery, coupled with 120W flash charging technology. Despite its substantial battery, the device is said to be sleek, measuring only 7.99mm in thickness and weighing 199 grams. Another significant upgrade for the Neo series is the introduction of ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, which will replace the optical fingerprint scanners from the iQOO Neo 9 series, enabling “one-swipe unlocking.”
For more information, we will have to wait until the official launch on November 29. In the meantime, feel free to check out our previous articles about the camera samples for the Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro.
