It’s expected that iQOO is developing its upcoming flagship model, the iQOO 13. There have been various leaks and speculations surrounding this device, and recently, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared insights on its camera features.
iQOO 13 Camera Features
Although the tipster did not disclose the phone's name in the latest leak, it is believed that these specifications pertain to the iQOO 13. As per DCS, the smartphone will sport a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera sensor, which will replace the 50MP Omnivision OV50H sensor found in the iQOO 12.
Camera Specifications
The ultrawide lens will remain unchanged from its predecessor, featuring a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor. For the telephoto lens, iQOO plans to substitute the 64MP 3x OmniVision sensor with a 50MP Sony IMX826 sensor that will support 2x optical zoom. However, details about the front-facing camera have not been provided. Speculations indicate that it will likely have a 16MP sensor housed in a punch-hole cutout. Additionally, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, codenamed “SM8750.”
Additional Specifications
In addition to the camera features, earlier reports suggest that the iQOO 13 will come with a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display boasting a 144Hz refresh rate, possibly made by BOE. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip will be accompanied by up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. On the software side, it is anticipated that the iQOO 13 will operate on OriginOS 15 based on Android 15.
Battery and Other Features
Furthermore, the device is likely to house a substantial 6,100mAh dual-cell battery with support for 120W fast charging, alongside wireless charging capabilities expected to reach 50W. Additional features highlighted in previous leaks include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, a distinctive Halo light strip, and an IP68 rating for both dust and water resistance. The iQOO 13 might debut in India by early December, with a projected price of around Rs 55,000.
