iQoo 13 Launch in India: All You Need to Know

Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has announced that it will launch the new performance-driven iQoo 13 smartphone in India in December 2024. This information was shared through iQoo's X (previously Twitter) account. While the exact launch date is not yet known, more details should be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

Specifications Unveiled

The iQoo 13 was first introduced on October 30 in China, and there is not going to be a significant difference in specifications, apart from the user interface. The global version will feature Funtouch OS instead of Origin OS. In terms of colors, the iQoo 13 landing page is already active on Amazon India, confirming its color choices.

Color Options Limited

The iQoo 13 will be available in Legend, which showcases a BMW tri-color design, and Alpha color options. However, there is no information about additional colors. In China, the iQoo 13 comes in four shades: white, green, grey, and black. Currently, the Indian landing page displays only two color options.

Features and Performance

On Amazon, the iQoo 13 landing page confirmed various features for the Indian model, including the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the self-developed Q2 computing chipset, and a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a stunning 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

A notable feature is the Halo light surrounding the camera module. The specifications remain largely the same as the Chinese version, including a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. Additionally, there’s a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

Battery and Charging

The device will have a 6,150mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging. However, it seems that there will be no wireless charging available for the Indian variant, just like the Chinese model.

The iQoo 13 will be exclusively sold through Amazon India and the iQoo India online store once it is officially launched.
