Infinix seems to be in the works on a follow-up to the Infinix GT 10 Pro, tentatively named the Infinix GT 20 Pro. This new model made an appearance on a significant certification platform before any formal announcement, revealing several key specifications.
Infinix GT 20 Pro: Upcoming Features
The Infinix GT 20 Pro was recently sighted on the FCC database and also on the BIS platform last week, hinting at an impending launch in India. The certification details indicate that the Infinix GT 20 Pro is expected to support 45W wired fast charging, with a charger model number U450XSB boasting power outputs of 15W (5V/3A) and 45W (11V/4.1A).
Infinix GT 10 Pro Successor
According to the certification, the new device will offer a storage variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Design schematics from the certification showcase a triple camera setup on the rear panel, resembling the Infinix GT 10 Pro. Noteworthy in the schematics is a semi-circular strip divided into two halves, which are likely reserved for LED lighting similar to its predecessor.
Although the final design remains unconfirmed, it is expected that Infinix will retain the cyber mecha design seen on the Infinix GT 10 Pro. The FCC certification has revealed the dimensions of the Infinix GT 20 Pro at 164×74.5×7.6mm. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone will support 5G and Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/n/ac/ax. Earlier confirmations also mentioned a 5,000mAh battery capacity and the presence of MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 SoC on the GeekBench and TUV certifications.
