Lava Blaze Curve 5G: A New Addition to Lava's Smartphone Lineup
Lava Mobiles, one of the popular smartphone brands in India, is set to introduce its latest device in 2024. Lava's President, Sunil Raina, took to Twitter to tease the upcoming device, which will be called the Lava Blaze Curve 5G.
A Curved-Edge Screen
The name itself suggests that the standout feature of the Lava Blaze Curve 5G might be its curved edge screen. This indicates that the device could come with an OLED panel. While this won't be the first time Lava utilizes a curved-edge OLED panel, as seen in the Lava Agani 2 5G camera, it still creates anticipation for the new device.
Pricing and Specifications
The Lava Agni 2 5G, priced at Rs 19,999 ($240), boasted a massive 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Considering this, it is expected that the Blaze Curve 5G, featuring a curved-edge OLED screen, might be priced under Rs 15,000 ($180).
Last month, Lava introduced the Storm 5G, which came with a price tag of Rs 13,499. The device featured a 6.78-inch LCD FHD+ 120Hz screen, a Dimensity 6080 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system, and Android 13. It is confirmed to receive Android 14 and two years of security updates.
With the upcoming launch of the Lava Blaze Curve 5G, Lava aims to offer a competitive device with a curved-edge OLED screen at an affordable price point. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting addition to Lava's smartphone lineup.
