Huawei Watch GT 5 Renders and Key Specs Leaked

Huawei is on the verge of releasing its latest Watch GT 5 series on September 19, 2024. This launch follows closely after the company introduced the innovative Mate XT tri-fold smartphone.

Recently, images and specifications of the Huawei Watch GT 5 were leaked by SpillSomeBeans, revealing two different sizes: 41mm and 46mm. Both models largely maintain the design aesthetics from the previous year.

Watch Models and Design

The Watch GT 5 lineup includes various options:

  • Watch GT 5 (46mm)
  • Watch GT 5 (41mm) – Jana Blue
  • Watch GT 5 (41mm) – Jana Blue
  • Watch GT 5 (41mm) – Jana Gold
  • Watch GT 5 (41mm) – Jana Gold

Both variants come with a rotating crown and an additional programmable button, as previously speculated. The 41mm version is available in Jana Blue and Jana Gold, while the 46mm is shown only in Black.

Build and Display

According to the leak, the watches feature a metal bezel, stainless steel body, and 5 ATM water resistance. The 41mm model boasts a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen, while the 46mm version offers a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. Battery life is anticipated to extend up to 7 days for the 41mm and 14 days for the 46mm model.

Huawei is expected to incorporate its enhanced TruSense health monitoring system, which was introduced recently in China. This system is designed for quicker and more precise health readings, monitoring vital stats like heart rate, SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation), and body temperature.

Health and Fitness Features

The leak also highlights a Health Glance feature, enabling rapid health assessments. Users will be able to evaluate over 10 indicators, including ECG, arterial stiffness, stress levels, and cardiovascular risks, within just 60 seconds.

For those focused on fitness, the smartwatch is set to support more than 100 sports modes and will feature built-in navigation capabilities (GPS, GNSS).

While exact pricing details for the Huawei Watch GT 5 remain undisclosed, it is speculated to start at approximately €250 ($277).
